RNIB for Business - Success stories

Content for all, with Google and The Guardian

The understanding that made the power of the written word, accessible.

The objective of this ground breaking project was simple – to make online information more accessible for individuals with reduced vision or blindness.

The RNIB, in collaboration with Google and The Guardian, launched "Auditorial," an experimental storytelling website that demonstrates how websites can adapt to meet the needs of partially sighted or blind users. Developed over seven months, this website aims to inspire other online creative publishers to produce more inclusive storytelling.

“We have learned much more about accessibility and inclusive product design from RNIB during this project, and we plan to apply the skills and lessons in future. Building a website from the ground up with accessibility and inclusive design at the forefront has made us think about user experience from the point of view of blind and low-vision users.”
